Ball Players And Band Entertained

Baseball, then a band concert afterwards and dinner at the Griswold House followed by a show at the Temple Theater! It sounds kind of mundane to modern man but I have a feeling that at the time it was quite the spectacle. All this splurging was possible thanks to Fred Postal--Poor Commission President and the man who later that year begrudgingly brought cheap suits to the lunatics at Eloise--whose sons played on the Michigan Military Academy. Luckily, for the reader, I have updated this old post on July 15, 2018 to showcase my re-dedication to the blog as well as featuring my recently purchased postcard of the Griswold House from 1911:
