Two Heavy Shot

The Detroit Free Press, April 20, 1911

I haven't really looked much into the case of coroner Toepel but I believe that he was accused of malfeasance on several occasions concerning autopsies or lack thereof. Anyway, three Eloise connections are made here: Nathan Norris, a former barber at the institution, Thomas C. Harvey, a general supervisor there and Barnard O'Rourke, who was apparently a "resident" there and had a sister who was one of the deceased in the aforementioned cases.
