From Prussia With War, Amputation & Eloise

The Detroit Free Press, May 22, 1904
Joseph Kusiba's promising life, first as a Prussian soldier and then an American immigrant, ended as an invalid. Having procured a job at the American Car & Foundry plant he planned to bring his wife and children from Prussia to begin a new life. An accident at the factory cost him that dream and both of his feet. Stints at Grace Hospital and Eloise hopefully helped in his quest to return home.
