Woman Fugitive Is Sent Back To Michigan Prison

Serial burglary was probably considered kleptomania back in the 1930s and as such Theresa Johnson was sent to Eloise from the Detroit House of Corrections in Plymouth, Michigan for her thievery. She, like hundreds of other patients and prisoners, escaped the big house there and made her way to Milwaukee before being picked up for stealing two watches in that city.
