Escaped Prisoner Taken In Detroit

Lodi News-Sentinel, December 26, 1956
I don't know Paul Case's rationale for fleeing to Michigan in the middle of winter, after escaping an Nebraska prison on Christmas Eve in 1956, but it didn't work out very well for him. He was captured in Plymouth, Michigan a day later suffering from an injured leg after jumping the 12 foot wall at the prison. He was taken to WCGH under the watchful eyes of the police.
