If Six Were Nine

I spoke too soon! Oh, wretched insane asylum why have your creaky doors forsaken thou!?!? Well, Betty Coleman anyway.

It seems that she didn't actually win the grand prize in the lottery after all. A mix-up with a handheld 6-with a line under it to differentiate the two-wrongfully gave the prize to her over the actual winner, Stephen K. Yao of Dearborn.

All was not lost though as Coleman did win the second place prize of $50,000. A sobering reduction but a lucky windfall just the same.
