Superintendent Moore Takes Over the Reigns of the County House in 1854


This contract (for sale on Etsy) between George W. Moore and the Wayne County Poorhouse for his service as Asylum and Farm Keeper for one year at the salary of $300 made in quarterly sums. His wife and three eldest children were also to be employed with all furnishings and lodgings paid for.
