Kooky But Not Crazy Enough For Eloise

Detroit Free Press, March 19, 1909
The neighbors thought her crazy and said that she had been acting queerly for the few months preceding March of 1909 but apparently Anna Blumineau was just in need of some attention. Which is why she walked the streets around 217 Division Street wearing her skirt upside down and her waist turned inside out. Oh, the humanity. The physicians figured it was just a phase and shot down the idea of a trip to the funny farm. Subsequent searches show nothing for her name. Of course, the spelling could very well be at fault for that.
