8 Years A Charge

The Northville Record, July 23, 1926
If anybody is in need of a project and wants to locate Alex Daly's grave at Rural Hill Cemetery have at it. Since the cemetery is owned by the city of Northville they have records but you have to contact them. Apparently, the ones from before the 1930s were lost and recreated through tombstone readings. I added a Find A Grave memorial for him but you can have it if you locate the grave.

Alex Daly, a former well known resident of this section, died at Eloise on Tuesday. He had been at Eloise about eight years, going there after he had suffered a stroke while at work about his farm duties. He was a brother of Mrs. William Taft of the Base Line road. Funeral services were held at Schrader Brothers' funeral chapel yesterday at 2:00 and internment took place at Rural Hill Cemetery.

The deceased was a member of the Modern Woodman Camp of this place.

He leaves two daughters; Alice and Georgia Daly.
