No John Jingleheimer

Detroit Free Press, May 7, 1931
Jacob Schmidt died while in a straightjacket at the supposedly safe confines of Eloise in December of 1931. While the hospital spokesman Dr. Robert Howell said that he believed the death resulted from self-injury, Dr. Newbarr, the Wayne County Examiner determined that the violent injury that caused death was likely from a blow to the head or a fall.
