Eloise to Operate a Beauty Parlor

Detroit Free Press, February 7, 1936
Tap dancing, tea parties, piano playing and a beauty parlor for the women mental patients. I guess it wasn't all bad times at the asylum. Of course this was only a project which was underway and there is no follow-up, that I can find, for its completion. Which means nothing except that I can't locate the information. Either way, it was under the auspices of Dr. Martin H. Hoffman, psychiatric head, who was involved in several interesting cases in his tenure at Eloise.
